Information Literacy

Grace Library is dedicated to supporting student success through the development of dispositions and knowledge practices that comprise information literacy. The Association of College & Research Libraries defines information literacy as:

"...the set of integrated abilities encompassing the reflective discovery of information, the understanding of how information is produced and valued, and the use of information in creating new knowledge and participating ethically in communities of learning."

Librarians are available to consult with faculty and instructors as they develop research-based assignments or assessments. Reach out to the library to get started.

Research Guides

Research Guides are course-specific or subject-oriented web sites designed to support students in using the library and completing research assignments. Each guide has a permanent URL that can be linked directly from Brightspace for easy access.
