Grace Library Online Catalog

As a member of the Carlow University community, you have full access to the wide range of resources curated by Grace Library. As an academic library, the majority of our collection consists of scholarly and peer-reviewed sources that support Carlow University's curriculum. Credible sources are those that are trustworthy, factual, and reliable. They are typically written by experts in the field, supported by evidence, and published through reliable platforms.

Examples of these sources include:

  • Articles
  • Books & eBooks
  • Databases
  • Newspapers
  • Reference sources like dictionaries and encyclopedias
  • Scholarly Journals

Discovery, Grace Library's online catalog, gives you instant access to these materials. All of the materials in the catalog are pulled from the databases and other resources Grace Library owns or subscribes to. Using the Discovery search box lets you search across all of those sources at once, saving you time. It can even filter results by resource type, date of publication, peer-review status, and more.

Some specialized databases, like ABI/Inform, CINAHL, Education Research Complete, and HealthSource: Nursing/Academic Edition, may not fully display results in Discovery and appear as "holdings" alongside an abstract. To access the full content of those databases, you will need to search those databases directly.
