What browsers are supported by Brightspace?

Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and Edge are all supported. Internet Explorer is NOT supported.

When do students have access to their courses?

Regardless of the system (Schoology or Brightspace) students get access to their courses on the first day of class - unless an instructor has made the course available earlier.
