Using Academic Video Online

The Media Hosting Service is a simple way to distribute your institution's content across campus. Digitize your lecture-captures, performances, football games, faculty experiments, and more. Access coincides directly with your Academic Video Online subscription.

• Your uploaded content will be available via the varied authentication methods our platform provides for on and off-campus viewing including IP and proxy authentication.
• This access provides the ability to upload multimedia content from PDFs to audio to video together seamlessly on a single platform. Twelve of the most common audio, text and video formats are accepted, notably mp4 (video), mp3 (audio), and PDF (text). There is a 4GB file size limit.

Upload directly through the admin portal (https://adminportal.alexanderstreet.com). A specific landing page will be provided where your uploaded content and metadata can be accessed.  The uploaded content will be cross-searchable along with all the collections and single titles you have access to on search.alexanderstreet.com
