Navigate 360 Features

Navigate360 is an app that can help you manage your academic journey and connect effectively with the full range of resources at Carlow.

Specifically, You Can Use Nav360 to:

  • Instantly book appointments with tutors, advisors, or instructors.

  • Set alerts and reminders to stay on top of important deadlines.

  • Raise your virtual hand to receive guidance on frequently asked questions.

  • Locate and connect with campus resources, including administrative and support offices.

  • Explore helpful tools designed to help you reach your goals and get to graduation.

Getting Started: Accessing Nav360

Students, please follow the below instructions to start using the Navigate360 mobile app

  1. Go to the App Store or Google Play Store, depending on the smart device you are using (or search for "Navigate360 Student" in either store)

  2. Download and install the Navigate360 Student app

  3. Open the app and search for Carlow University under school name

  4. Log in using your Carlow University Login credentials (your @live.carlow.edu email and password)

  5. Accept the terms and conditions and proceed to the brief introduction (Welcome Tour) to the app. The Welcome Tour can be accessed again on the About page in the app

  6. Answer the short Intake Survey to personalize the app

  7. Allow push notifications to ensure you don't miss any communications or reminders

Accessing the Nav360 Desktop Site

You also can access Navigate360 by visiting the desktop site login page on your laptop or computer.

Appointment Scheduling

Scheduling an Appointment in the Navigate 360 Student app:

  1. Open and sign in to your Navigate360 Student app.

  2. Click on the “Appointments” icon, then “Schedule an Appointment” and follow the prompts. 

Canceling Appointments:

  1. Log into the Navigate Student mobile app (or the desktop version)

  2. Tap/click "Appointments"

  3. Under “Upcoming, select the appointment you would like to cancel

  4. Tap/click “Cancel Appointment"

  5. Select a reason for the cancellation from the drop-down menu

  6. Enter a comment (optional, but helpful information to include when canceling)

  7. Tap/click “Cancel Appointment”

Changing Notification Preferences

Notifications are messages sent to notify you about important upcoming To-Dos, Events, or Personal Reminders in Navigate Student.

Notifications can be push notifications to a mobile device, a text message to a mobile device, or an email message. The type of notification sent is dependent on which methods you choose to receive and which ones the institution has enabled.

Settings

Students must opt in to receive notifications from Navigate Student. They can set their preferences by selecting Settings > Notification Settings.

Students must enter their cell phone information in the Update Your Contact Information section.

You can select which types of notifications you wish to receive. You may choose more than one way to receive a notification. For example, you may choose to have both a text message and email sent.

Select the “?” icon to learn more about the different notification settings.

Keep in Mind!

  • Email notifications are sent from noreply@navigate.eab.com  

  • All text messages come from a toll free number. You cannot respond to text messages generated from Navigate360 Student.
