Creating your syllabus is an important step in the course development process. An instructor's syllabus should impart information about the course and the information to be covered throughout the semester, assessments expected of the students enrolled in the course, and information on academic integrity and various campus services, such as the Disability Services Office and the Center for Academic Achievement, that students should be aware of.
The CTRL can assist in building your syllabus and can provide policy statements that should be built into the syllabus and in online courses.
Future plans for the CTRL include uploading information on different types of syllabi and creating a historic syllabus repository. Please check back periodically for update to these initiatives.
