Brightspace is the University's Learning Management System, often referred to as CelticOnline.
A Learning Management System (LMS) is an online management system used for teaching and learning. CelticOnline is largely used to host Carlow University's online course content; it can also be utilized as an organization and grade-tracking tool for traditional face-to-face courses.
The CTRL's Instructional Designers are available to work with instructors to build or enhance new or existing online courses in CelticOnline using the learner-centric guidelines and best practices behind Universal Design for Learning and Backwards Design.
