The primary focus of the OSR is to focus on strengthening the systems, processes, and collaborations that support student retention at Carlow.
The OSR is distinct from TRiO, Pittsburgh Promise, and Community Scholars offices, which prioritize individual student outreach.
The OSR is a part of CTRL in Academic Affairs.
The OSR was established following the successful acquisition of the Department of Education’s Title III Part A – Strengthening Institutions Program grant.
The program provides funding to help eligible higher education institutions become self-sufficient and expand their capacity to serve students by improving academic quality, institutional management, and financial stability.
